MUSIC & MORE IMPRO FESTIVAL
is a young festival that aims to bring free improvised music closer to the public while experimenting in the field of free improvisation in other artistic disciplines.
The global project of the MMI FESTIVAL is designed to take place in different cities and countries of the European continent in order to connect improvising artists and their audience.
Given the nature and the concept of improvisation, musicians do not require previous rehearsals and are usually able to improvise with others. Artists of other genres will also be invited to the festival to interact with the musicians. The festival is understood as a bridge between cultures and nationalities in Europe.
Music and art have this advantage of bringing human beings closer to each other.

MÚSICA & MÁS IMPRO FESTIVAL
es un joven festival que pretende acercar la música improvisada al público a la vez que experimenta en el campo de la improvisación libre en otras disciplinas artísticas.
El proyecto global del MMI FESTIVAL está diseñado para tener lugar en diferentes ciudades y países del continente europeo con el fin de conectar a los artistas de la improvisación con su público.
Dada la naturaleza y el concepto de improvisación, los músicos no requieren ensayos previos y suelen ser capaces de improvisar con otros.
Artistas de otros géneros también serán invitados al festival para interactuar con los músicos. El festival se entiende como un puente entre culturas y nacionalidades en Europa.
La música y el arte tienen esa ventaja de acercar a los seres humanos entre sí.

VISION
The MMI FESTIVAL was designed as part of an intercultural bridge for artists and improvised art lovers between Germany and Spain. The design of this event guarantees a strong interdisciplinary exchange at an intercultural and social level between Munich and Barcelona and therefore between Germany and Spain.
The project is now planned to also take place in different cities and countries all over the European continent to connect artists among each other and with the audiences.
In a metaphorical context, the MMI FESTIVAL is not only designed to strengthen the collective by listening to the individual but also to strengthen the solidarity between people of diverse demographic and cultural origins by bringing musicians from various countries together. We believe that it is important to approach different groups of people in Europe in a creative, inspiring way and through the exchange of art on an intercultural level.
The MMI FESTIVAL offers the participants the opportunity to listen, see, approach and relate to each other.

VISIÓN
El MMI FESTIVAL fue diseñado como parte de un puente intercultural para artistas y amantes del arte improvisado entre Alemania y España.
El diseño de este evento garantiza un fuerte intercambio interdisciplinario a nivel intercultural y social entre Munich y Barcelona y, por tanto, entre Alemania y España.
El proyecto está previsto que tenga lugar también en diferentes ciudades y países de todo el continente europeo para conectar a los artistas entre sí y con el público.
En un contexto metafórico, el festival MMI FESTIVAL no sólo está diseñado para fortalecer el colectivo escuchando al individuo, sino también para fortalecer la solidaridad entre personas de diversos orígenes demográficos y culturales, reuniendo a músicos de varios países. Creemos que es importante acercarse a diferentes grupos de personas en Europa de una manera creativa, inspiradora y a través del intercambio de arte a nivel intercultural.
El MMI FESTIVAL ofrece a los participantes la oportunidad de escuchar, ver, acercarse y relacionarse entre sí.
"Si pudiéramos adaptar nuestra forma de relacionarnos social y políticamente, a la actitud que los improvisadores tienen entre ellos, el mundo actual sería diferente.
Sería un lugar donde se actuaría con la conciencia de que todos importamos al mismo nivel, un lugar donde escuchar a nuestro prójimo es la primera ley, donde también podemos actuar solos, pero sin olvidar que lo que cuenta es el conjunto".
